To optimize the care of your jewelry, it is essential to know its composition and differentiate "noble" metals from "base" metals:
14K Gold-Filled, 24K Gold & 925 Silver: These precious metals offer total resistance. They are the natural habitat of Miyuki beads and my hand-carved, crystallized shell charms and pendants. You can live, swim, and sleep with these pieces without altering their shine.

The gold is merely misted on; it lasts just long enough to be sold. As soon as you put it on, its disappearance begins, and it is extremely fast. It is pure theft based on marketing ideas repeated enough by everyone, buyers and sellers alike, to manipulate words and make you believe your skin damages gold. Hahaha! What a joke, gold is immortal, your skin cannot make it disappear!
